Lisa Monson
The Woman. The Myth. The Owner/Master Stylist.
Lisa is responsible for creating Shear Excellence over 35 years ago. She has curated a space that everyone can feel comfortable and at home in: a thoughtful and purposefully-built environment that influences cutting-edge styles and fosters creativity.
Lisa started her education at the International Institute of Hair Design. After that, she studied at the Sassoon Academy in San Francisco, and then furthered her education by studying under Robert Cromean of Paul Mitchell. Recently, Lisa was trained as a color specialist by Davines Color of Italy.
As the owner of Shear Excellence, Lisa has assembled a group of professional stylists and estheticians that encompass a broad range of thought and expertise. The environment Lisa has created allows these experts to collaborate, share knowledge, and educate each other in the latest trends and styles. Lisa’s careful selection of talent ensures that you will have plenty of inspiration to take advantage of at Shear Excellence.
Lisa’s appointment hours are:
9 am - 7 pm: Monday, Wednesday, Friday
8 am - 5 pm: Saturday
