Master Stylist

Terri developed an interest in cosmetology at an early age. Her uncle owned cosmetology schools and salons, and she began working for the schools at age 13 after school and on Saturdays, catering desserts to the clients. By age 16, working as a receptionist at the cosmetology school, she decided to become a student herself.

After graduation and after spending several years in salons, she began teaching as an instructor at the cosmetology school. With her uncle as the owner, he was much harder on her than any student (for which she is ever so grateful). His “tough love” led to Terri becoming a Trainer at a franchise salon before going on to rent her own space.

Terri has been working at Shear Excellence since 2009. She loves the salon atmosphere and will quite possibly work at least part-time as long as physically possible! Her expertise is in cuts and color, and she enjoys learning new techniques whenever they arise.

Terri loves the Utah mountains and the Southern Utah deserts. When at home, she enjoys cooking and spending time with grandchildren.

Terri’s appointment hours are:

9 am - 4 pm: Sunday
